All Saints of Lincolnshire is a parish of the Antiochian Archdiocese of Great Britain and Ireland, in the Patriarchate of Antioch. If you are new to the Orthodox Church, we are in fact a vast number of dioceses who are all in communion with each other. As Orthodox Christians we are full communicant members of all the other Patriarchates, including Greece, Russia, Bulgaria and Romania.
Some would say that the Orthodox Church is the ‘original’ church of Great Britain and Ireland. What this actually means is that, before 1054AD, there were no such things as denominations. The Church was One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church! Christianity in these Islands predates 1054AD by at least 500 years, if not longer, and we remain unchanged in our doctrine and beliefs from those early days of British Christianity.
Our new Orthodox Parish in Lincoln was refounded by the Antiochian Patriarchate in the late 1990’s.
